Reiki

“We are not just physical bodies, made up of parts – we are energy creatures. And when we work on balancing our subtle energy system, we can find greater balance in all areas of our lives.” ~ Jim Rohn

What is Reiki?

Reiki is an energy healing technique in which a Reiki master (who has undergone formal training in this healing art) uses gentle hand movements with the intention to guide the flow of healthy energy (what's known in Reiki as life force energy) through the client's body to reduce stress and promote healing.

What will I feel during Reiki?

Reiki may be experienced as a flow of energy, mild tingling, warmth, coolness, other sensations, or nothing at all. Length of Reiki sessions may vary, but are usually half to one hour in duration. The Practitioner will take a short case history prior to discussing treatment options.

Kristy Geibel, Reiki Practioner

Over the last decade I became extremely passionate about self discovery and natural healing methods in my personal life. I experienced the profound benefits of these practices and felt compelled to share these methods with others, advocating healing, peace and joy.

I am trained in traditional Usui Reiki Ryoho methods.  I received my level 1 certification from Into the Spirit Healing Arts in Cranberry with Reiki Master Melissa Carey and level 2 certification from Datta Retreat Center in West Sunbury with Reiki Master Daria Woodside. I have also completed a 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training with Himalayan Institute in Honesdale, Pa and Level 1 & 2 in Yoga Dance with Leven Institute in Massachusetts.

In my personal time, I am a grateful dog mom who absolutely loves nature and traveling. I have a zest for life, deeply value quality time with friends and family and love experiencing new adventures.

“The body is a self-healing organism, so it's really about clearing things out of the way so the body can heal itself.”~Barbara Brennan
